"Baseball's future? Bigger and bigger, better and better! No question about it, it's the greatest game there is!"
Mission: To curate, create, and publish novel baseball research from the greater Columbia community and foster an accessible learning environment for Columbia students and faculty to grow baseball knowledge.
COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY SOCIETY FOR BASEBALL RESEARCH (CUSBR) is an interdisciplinary undergraduate student group affiliated with Columbia University founded by Anthony Montes and Charles Orlinsky. The Columbia University Society for Baseball Research (CUSBR) is an organization dedicated to learning about baseball. CUSBR’s Research wing seeks to engage in and produce publication-grade baseball research. Bringing together baseball enthusiasts, casual fans, data scientists, and statisticians, CUSBR’s meetings function as a low-stakes space for Columbia community members with all levels of baseball expertise to get together to watch, discuss, read, write, and learn about baseball.
